Getting Here

As you enter the village, travelling downhill, you will see a brown sign on your left indicating Appledore Maritime Museum. Take the left turn (it is just beyond the park which you will have passed on your left hand side). The turn itself is quite narrow. As you pass two small car parks on your right you then pass two houses on your right and Bude Street will be on your right hand side. Drive down Bude Street and stop by the craft shop on the left hand side. The Captain's House is directly opposite. You can unload and then park on the Quay or one of the car parks. People are used to cars being loaded or unloaded so they expect possible hold ups.

Alternatively you can drive to the bottom of the hill, ignoring the sign for the Maritime museum, and as the road bends around to the left you will reach the Quay. Bude Street is just beyond John's on the left hand side and you can drive up and unload.
